Shipping and Returns Policy (last updated as of: 05/11/2018).

All orders via this site are securely handled by snipcart.com. Payments are securely handled by stripe.com. Customers can make purchases through snipcart.com via credit or debit card. For queries relating to any purchases please email: support@arith-matic.com.

Shipping

We do not ship worldwide and currently only provide shipping to UK & EU countries and the US.

Shipping amounts are automatically calculated based on buyer location and total weight of the shipment. Buyers are responsible for the payment of any taxes or customs duties levied on shipments during importation.

Items are dispatched within two working days on receipt of payment. We ship all our orders via Royal Mail.

Volume / Bulk Orders

For volume / bulk purchases (quantities of > 4 kits or shipment weight > 2kg) please email support@arith-matic.com for pricing options.

Late Deliveries

Our shipping provider (Royal Mail) is not always able to guarantee delivery within the times stated above. We will work with the buyer and our shipping provider if a late shipment occurs and attempt to resolve any subsequent issues. Shipments to the US (>250g) will always be dispatched using Royal Mail’s ‘International Tracked and Signed’ service.

Terms and Conditions

Buy purchasing our products you agree:

  1. Not to not re-sell or make avaliable our products to any third parties for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
  2. Not to remove our trade mark, copyright notice or any other proprietary notice from any parts of our products.
  3. Not to distribute, edit or re-brand any parts of our products.
  4. If you do use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. You may also be liable for any copyright or trade-mark infringements arising from the unauthorised use of our products, related materials, information or services.

Returns

Our products may be returned, in an unopened state and within 14 days of purchase, for a full refund. However, you will need to pay the return postage.

We will not refund kits which have already been started or opened, but do provide support and assistance in kit construction or fault finding via our support address: support@arith-matic.com

In the unlikely event that you discover a missing component please contact us via our support address and we will issue you any missing components for free.

Kit Construction Support

If you have problems whilst constructing any of our products we do provide a free diagnosis service. Firstly, we will attempt to solve any issues via our support email, and will request from you:

  1. Confirmation of steps followed in the manual’s assembly guide and troubleshooting section.
  2. A high-resolution, well illuminated and focused photo of the product (including all soldering points and tracks).
  3. Confirmation of any enacted fault-finding steps, suggested by us, through re-soldering, continuity testing or part replacement.

If the previous steps do not solve the problem, we will (at our discretion) perform a free and full inspection of the product. However, at this stage the buyer will need to pay return postage costs. If we subsequently find a faulty component has been issued, we will provide a free replacement or refund, plus refund the cost of any postage to the buyer.

Please note: we are unable to provide any support for products which have been modified, customized or make use of non-standard components. We suggest all customers follow the construction guidelines provided in our product technical manuals.

ARITH-MATIC shall not be responsible to customers or any third party for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, revenues, sales, business or goodwill through the use of our products.

ARITH-MATIC does not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information, materials or services found or offered with our products for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information, materials and services may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
